Subject: Newbie wants to know why nobody uses Poser for animations and other things...

There is a company in the U.K. which have two t.v. series in production (that have been sold for a total of 26 episodes) they are based on adult books, and are animated using Bryce 4, Poser 4, and Amorphium. I have seen things in commercials on t.v. that really look like they were done in poser as well. Most serious production companies will not be brought to poser for it's variety of characters, due to copyrights they would be no good for merchandise, and thus it would be hard to pitch the production. There are similiar programs to poser that are for High End 3d Software. Curious Labs is trying to break in to this High End or "profesional" level reputation.
