Not to worry Genny :) I have also noticed the missing "handles" and reported the bug to Steve. It is a bit "hit and miss" trying to find them when you can't see them LOL!! Cheers

--------------- A life?! Cool!! Where do I download one of those?---------------
Hi Genny, Try disabling "Use Open GL" in File>Options. You will need to restart vue for the changes to take place. The fact that you say that you are on a new PC implies maybe you have a different video card than you did before? There are certain issues with certain video card drivers and the Open GL feature, which they are working to correct. Try disabling it and see what happens, and let us know. :) Cheers, Mike
Thanks Cheers, that's exactly the word I was looking for...."Handles" (: If not for the fact that it is so irritating trying to "catch it" it would almost be funny! Glad you reported it, and hopefully e-on will come up with a fix. And, Mike, I don't know what Video card I have, (that kind of stuff is wayyyyy over my head) but I tryed disabling the "Use Open GL" feature, and it seemed to do the trick (: Thank you both for your replies and your help, and have a great holiday! genny
Ah, so i'm not the only one that has a problem with Vue and XP :) The problem that i have is this: Vue works wonderfully, well, the little bit of it that i have explored. I only got it recently, and i'm infatuated with it - it is SUCH a cool program, kicks Bryce's @$$ :) This is not really a problem but it's irritating. Everytime that I close Vue, it causes and error, and windows wants to do the whole sending error report thing. Is there an update that I can run for this? thanks. chemicalX
hmmmm.........that's one problem I didn't have. I did go to the web site and downloaded the Vue4.1 patch, NOT the lastest one, but that was only because in my other computer I could not import any "Poser" files, so I just did it to avoid the frustration. I really don't know if it helped anything, but it certainly didn't hurt. (: Once I disable that Open GL....it works perfectly........so far anyways. (: Genny

Hi all, My computer's hard-drive DIED, a couple of weeks ago, but since then, I bought a new computer, installed Vue4 again with the 4.1 patch and everything appears to work just fine.............except.........that thing, I am sorry I don't know what you call it, but it appears on the screen with your image to enable you to rotate, move, do what-ever on the y-z-x, axis, BUT, it...........disappears, when-ever I move my mouse? I can not use it.........it simply vanishes? I am now using Windows XP, so, do you think this has anything to do with it? If not, how do I Disable/Enable this tool to work again? I tryed to do a screen capture to show you what "tool" I am talking about is.......but it managed to elude that too. (: Any sugesstions would be greatly appreciated. (: Take care and have a Happy Thanksgiving! genny
