Oh yeah - I have raided your metal section :) Very very well done, and you gave me wonderful ideas for making my own tiled material... However, the thing I was having problems with is the making custom texutre... how to make them mainly. I figured out that you do a basic gray scale render of the Front (or top) of the picture... then you make your custom texture using photoshop... However... If you look at my picture which I submitted, I'm still not getting the hang of it. The bottom part of the middle section (which has the red writing on it) is warping so that the "UP" appears to disappear off the edge... I can't figure out why this is happening. I was told that if you were making a render at 800x600 you have to have a texture of 800x600, however this doesn't appear to account for wrapping, and warping of the model, and doesn't seem to be a very good rule. What I'm looking for is a tutorial - or someone - that will explain to me just what kinda "rules" you are expected to follow. (ie, size differences, how big you should make the texture, how you should render the texture, short cuts, tips and tricks, etc etc) Does anyone have any the above information - for that is where I am mostly stuck tracy
