Im trying to make a dog walk in the designer part of poser 4, it wont work, the front legs are crossed and i dont no how to fix the problem, please help, leo.,

As far as I know, the walk designer doesnt work for four-legged creatures, only bipeds.

thanks for you reply., i dont suppose you would no how i could get my dog to walk as easy as you can get two legged things to walk???? you talk about bipeds? any reply would be cool, thanks p.s. im a new player to poser, so ill get lost quick if it get complicated.

I honestly dont know of any simple way to make the dog walk. All I can suggest is getting a copy of Animals in Motion by Muybridge and using the stop-motion photos there as a guide.

I think there might be a couple for dogs still at the PropsGuild? Yup, it's too bad that the walk designer is limited only to the two-legged type. Here's a sample of Creepy Hand 'walking' I did, not exactly a quad-ped but it did take about 3 hours to tweek into shape. I'm still working on Brycetech's bat but Halloween ended too soon ;-(

I would ask schlabber for some help. He was able to animate the poser cat for me and did an excellent job. I was well pleased with the results and the movement seems very natural which is quite a feat as the poser cat is jointed poorly. PBM

LifeForms from Credo ( alas very costly ) does quadrupeds in it's walk designer. If some of use with LF would get off uh...all fours we might post some sometime.
