I installed Pro Pack about 2 weeks ago and so far so good (knock on wood)! To me the biggest advantage is the ability to use multipane windows and to be able to see the main camera like you can in other 3d application. I've not done much with animation yet, nor do I have the high end applications that Pro Pack can install plug-ins for. Other users have told me that they really like Python scripts. To me the most exciting feature is the set up room. I'd like to build my own Poser figures someday and the setup room seems to much simplify the process of setting up and articulating figures. If you can watch the demonstration tours at the Curious Labs website, it helped persuade me, it may help. PS: Pro Pack also comes with cartoon character figures and poses for them. These can be used for stills as well as animation.
