I don't mind nudes at all. There was one nude I wailed on though (its one of the top 20 most viewed i think), simply because there were a good 10 or so needless flaws in the image (it was a photo mixed with a poser character that that needed overnight surgery to fix), and not a single person out of the 50 or so who commented mentioned anything, saying only "Marvelous", and "SHES SO HOT!" That upset me, because not only was the image kinda, well, not up to par (especially by the standards the artist in question set for himself with other works which were undoubtedly F'IN GREAT!), but that everyone seemed to be in awe of the chicks pixel areolas. Those are ones I comment on. Generally, if I see a nude that I feel can be improved in some areas, what I'll say is, "This kinda stuff really isn't my thing, but I can see that this this and this are spot on, though I feel the lighting is out of place with this image, the face could possibly be enhanced by a slight rembrandt lighting setup." If I see nudes I like, generally I don't comment, or I stop and say "This is nice man," or "This may not be my thing, but it still rawks." As a photographer, I'm all for nudes. As a digital artist, while I haven't forayed into the genre, I'm sure I wouldn't have any qualms about it. As for the people leaving stupid comments, it's happened to my work as well, so I can understand at least somewhat what it's like. In the end though, I just have to say either "phuck'em, theyre just jealous," or "phuck'em cause one person's opinion won't change my view on it, and that view is that I put a lot of work into this, I'm completely satisfied that my design not only met or exceeded its function, but that it also did it with some style." In the end dude, 'phuck'em'.
