Just remember that CD Writers are cheap these days, as are blank CD's. You can easily backup all your stuff. Don't even worry if it's a full 600MB worth...CD's are that cheap. You can zip and backup your runtime folder, and you'll have all your Poser installed stuff in case of emergency. This advice doesn't help your current situation. I hate to say it but once you've tried to install a different operating system, I think you've truly lost your stuff.
