Odin wasn't a big god. He was a sneaky, treacherous, clever god. Thor was bigger by far, but he wasn't as smart as Odin. BTW, Odin had only 1 eye. If he wore any armor, it would have been a chain mail byrnie, but I can recall no story where he is described as wearing armor, not even at the last battle. Carolly
