It depends on your end use, Eric. If just creating the scene is all you want and youre not going any further than that, Id recommend Bryce: the render engine is slow but gorgeous in comparison to Vue or WB. If you need to take the scene further and export it out, then maybe you want WB, since, as aleks points out, it has an export to Max. I work specifically in Bryce because theres just something about the quality of the renders I cant get in any other program. It has enormous limitations within the program and I usually have to build everything somewhere else and then import it all in, but the quality of the final image makes it all worthwhile as far as Im concerned.
