This idea of negotiating with criminals, offering them a slap on the wrist and expecting the Community of full price buyers to accept this sort of behavior from crooks is just too mind boggling for me to comprehend... It's fine if legitimate users get a break, sure, they waited and now they have a chance at a sale... But to invite the people that have been ripping your company and the Community off without any form of punishment? Are vendors now going to contact the people that stole their work and tell them: "Hey, as long as you pay half of it, it's cool by me..."
