Many Thanks to all of you. I'm beginning to think that the problem is a Win 2000 installation gone wrong too. Windows looked pretty instable and the Explorer crash issue presented itself almost from the beginning. I run a scan disk a few days ago and found no virus. I will reinstall win 2000 very carefully in the next few days and see wath happens. I want just to be sure to have a stable system because I just received the LightWave 7 demo from Newtek and it will be my next purchase. I need to see if it runs fine prior the purchase...
