out of curiosity, do you guys have the size of the cr2 that dina ships with? I'd imagine that gal has a pretty impressive set... of numbers...(get your mind out of the gutter!) jim, would you ever actually use a file as big as you made there or was that just to see if you could do it? the reason I ask is because while making this program I need a reasonable range of file size expectation. To aid in editing, automation of verifying links within files, automation of full packaging for distribution of poser files, search/replace capabilities..etc are pretty much driven by file size in many ways. I currenly have it set up for a person to determine what they consider "large" for their computer. 5- 30 megs...this would allow you to open a file from 100 - 600 megs (theoretically) if you have the machine power to do it. However, I doubt anyone would ever be able to open a 600 meg text file and actually do any editing with any cr2 editor. I have tested the 65 meg file and it opens, checks links, does search/replace neatly. for the rest of you, the larger file size you state, is that an oddity? would you ever try to distribute anything that large?
