Poser can't change the polycount. The models in Poser are the same as your inport in Moray. Poser renders organic forms rather good, because it smoothes the polys in his render.
Maybe you can activate some form of smoothing with another program. I don't know how, but some people use uvmapper for everything, maybe there is an option for polygon smoothing.
