I believe www.c2it.com fees are higher and they don't have the user base that paypal has. I'm not suggesting that Renderosity get rid of the current method they use, but it would be nice if we had a choice. You're right about the consumer protection when it comes to credit cards, but they do make you jump through a few hoops (contacting your credit card company's fraud division, filing a police report, contacting all three credit agencies: it's a pain).
