You want to make sure your version of Poser is 4.03... There was an important update that fixed many problems with Poser 4. I actually ran into someone who had Poser for several months, and had some big problems that even prompted the new user to wipe the computer's hard drive and reinstall all the software. That didn't help. Once the user installed the upgrade, the problems disappeared. I always like to take a chance and see if I can save you some troubles.
