Syyd, what paper are you using?? I'm not sure what the 785 is, but I think it is the same as the previous 875. Paper MATTERS!! I would recommend heavy weight matte and make adjustments in the advanced color part--I decrease magenta quite a bit, increase contrast and tweak the other colors to suit me. If you are using Colorlife (or Ilford's Glossy Pearl I think, from what I hear), download the Epson profile and use it as the printer profile and be sure in the driver to set it for glossy film, 1440, and in advanced--no color adjustment. If you are using Epson's glossy--well, I don't know--I don't use it, but I use glossy film for Office Depot glossy and use my own setttings. The Colorlife profile is a bit 'warm' I think, but lovely and many are using it. I have to say, after following printers and printing forums for a good while, that the consensus is that the prints will never be EXACTLY what is on your screen no matter the profiling, color management, etc.---I read beaucoup about this from many who use color managment and from all different printers--and the number of Epson's printers from the P400 to the lowly 780. And---paper matters---that's what I've learned. Like using different papers to print film---they each have their own 'character'. I don't know if this helps a tad, but since I print a lot---just thought I'd pass this on. I actually print from a printer app called Qimage, but occasionally print from PS--and its identical. Oh, I am also using Adobe RGB1998 as my color space and I'm embedding the profile in the image when I save it--its down at the bottom of the save dialog box in PS 6. This is lovely---and everyone is going to love it. Happy Holidays, Diane
