Okay, you asked for it... ;) After staring at the cover for a while I think I gathered what it's suppose to portray: A woman emerging from some kind of time travel/transport swirl. The images around her relate to the things the swirl has effected. Kennedy, Christ, piramids, UFOS, the Masons and atomic bomb. The problem I see however is the images are just floating on what appears to be a black background. I would make the swirl to take up the entire cover with each image swirling like it might be caught in a drain. That way the viewer knows the images are tied together with the swirl. The girl needs to be in front of all the images. I would make the Layers logo larger and the company logo smaller (think DC comics logo.) You might also put your name above the logo like: Gregory Boycott's Layers. Your name would need to be a little smaller than it is now. Regarding the story title I would put it at the bottom floating on the cover art. The "volume number" I would change to something like "Debut Issue Zero!" Also use a sans serif font instead. I think the girl looks just fine other than the wrist which I don't think is a major big deal. Hope that helps! ~DerekG
