Thanks for the input folks. I've run virus scans on my computer recently, and made sure I had the proper updates as well. Norton Disk Doctor recently said there were some un-recognized partitions on the D drive (there should only be one for the entire drive). I decided to let Disk Doctor analyze the drive in an attempt to repair the "FAT" table. (I guess it is not a FAT table if it is NTFS?!) In the end, Disk Doctor said it found no partitions. So I just said to hell with it and wiped the entire hard drive. I had about 15GB of data, but much of it was most likely already on CD's. I was just trying to repackage things, whatever. I haven't had a chance to put things to the test to see if the drive is ok now. The Maxtor drive is the D drive, or the data drive. The Maxtor drive was the C drive once. I am about ready to uninstall Poser from the C drive, since that is getting pretty cramped. I figure I'll copy the runtime folder over to the D drive, and install Poser there. That way Poser will be the only program on the D drive, and most of the rest of the stuff will merely be Poser artwork, etc. Poser will have the 30GB hard drive mostly to itself, and it won't compete with the Windows swap file for space. The 20GB hard drive only has about 6GB free space now, and some of that must be used by something.
