The only file type that absolutely, positively has to be in a specifically located, precisely named folder are the .obj files in the geometries folders. You said "obj's into geometries under the model name". If you meant that literally, that may be your problem. You cannot make up your own goemetries folder names, you have to use the ones designated by the author and encoded into the .cr2 files themselves. This case-sensitive file path for the .obj files is almost always give in the readme ('cause the author knows you're gonna need it). However, if accidentally omitted, you can simply do as thgeisel suggests and actually look inside the .cr2 file for the correct path to the .obj in the geometries folder. And, if you did just really hate where the author put the .obj files, you could change those file path lines within the .cr2 (there are two of them for each poseable figure included in the .cr2 and both must be changed).
