Actually, it's quite an idea. I agree about the huge curls, though. It looks like she has large hair rollers in her hair, setting the curls, and they need to be brushed out. If you play with the idea, though, I think you could come up with some interesting hair styles. Maybe, the idea could be experimented with by using exported rocks from Bryce or something with a more irregular shape than cyllinders or spheres.
