Hey Deimos, Yes, my wife and I are (former) hard-core ballroomers -- 17 years -- 3/4 times a week; I put "former" because we got involved with Argentine tango a few years ago and I have to tell you it's like a $#%)(+ drug! Now it's 5 to 6 nights a week, between the private lessons, practicas, the milongas and the looking for milongas (tango dance parties). We live now in Sacramento but find ourselves going back to San Francisco more and more because of this. I've been making some poses and illustrations - will put up a couple in a day or so - but what I want to do is make some short - 10 to 15 seconds - anims. I found that in the Walk Designer (why do they capitalize that?) it is possible to make a variety of different walking styles for the tangueros and even the tangueras, except with no backward option I could only figure that I need generate the walks then for the women to match the men (manually?)REVERSE THE ORDER of frames, i.e., 1-100 switch 100 to 1. YOWTCH!! Probably a script exists for doing this or could be easily written, just not by yours truly. Don't know if there actually already are BVH files for this particular subject -- there maybe -- but not able to find any looking around the web. By the bye, "intermixing different dances" is not a no-no. Funny, when (new)people do it on the floor, they're called "newbies", but when practiced, better dancers do it, it's called "brilliant Yowie Wowie Howd theydo that!?!" Go figure.
