Did you read the read me file that come with it? I skipped the read me too and I was confused like you about the way the feet work. Basically you have to make the feet and toes invisible and apply a transmap to the body of the character (Vicky) to hide the shins. It was made like this so that you could use the walk designer with the boots if I recall well (don't have the file handy rigth now...). Check the read me it helps. And BTW it actually is more difficult to use than Michael version because it has no mat files...
