Hi all In the above image I'm planning to have a fish jumping out of the water in front of the rock. Is there any way to add ripples to the water just there? I'm using Vue 2 Thanks Gail

It looks great, really nice picture, it looks so quiet and peaceful there, how do I get there from here? Sharen

In a well hidden room, a painting hangs on the wall. It has been said that if you knock on the picture the correct way you will be transported to the world that it shows I wish

Very nice picture so far. Nice and peacuful. The tutorial at the enclosed link might be just what you're looking for. :) What you have to do is click on the link, then go to the "Goodies" section in the sidebar frame at the left. Then click on Vue d'Esprit in the Tutorials section, and then on "Tesign's Splash Technique". I hope this helps you out.

Or, you could just try this direct link, but Bloodsong's whole site is well-worth exploring. Lotsa cool stuff there, especially if you're also a Poser user. :)

Also you'll find some related threads in our Archive Tips Collection (linked here). This is coming along as a wonderful image! :)

Gail, Water ripples can be made from toruses. But in Vue 2 there are none in the primitives. You can import them from another soft or just ask here if you cannot find (or create) any. Watersplashes as said before... :-)Guitta

Oruda, there are previous threads (check the link) for ripples, splashes, waves and other effects. Lots of good tips and pointers. :)

Gail, the foreground of your scene is perfect (photorealistic). But the background (trees and dead trees) is like a picture, I have no idea to improve it to look more realistic. :( Yves

YL don't worry, working on the foreground at the moment. Once I've got the water right I'll fix the background up
