I can see the point, but I don't know how practical it would be. I think this would be less of an issue if everyone would just be sure to indicate that another product is needed to use the item so people don't download things needlessly (like your new fairy wings do LadySilverMage). It is frustrating to download something and find out I need something I don't have to use it. It must really be aggravating if you have a slow connection and spend 20 minutes getting some texture only to discover you can't even use it. Links to the site instead of the download don't bother me IF the link is to the download page. Sometimes they link to their main page (not always in English) and I'm left to hunt around. Once I clicked through five pages and still couldn't find it. Guess what? I'm quite likely to browse around your site anyway to see what you've done...you really don't need to force pageviews out of me ;) Still, I'd even rather have that than the incredibly annoying zip file that has a txt doc in it with the URL I have to visit. What the *&%#@ up with that?
