Here is the almost finished Conan Sword. It just needs some touching up on the blade and the etchings. All opinions welcome since this is my first custom prop for Poser, which will be available free for everyone, soon. Dwmdesigner

I'm glad all my hard work paid-off, it's nice to hear from all of you. Once I post the Free Sword in the Free Stuff Section, stay-tuned for the Complete Arnold version of Conan for Poser 4! Anyone want to make a Valeria to go with Conan? I can create her sword accuratly, but the rest I don't know if I can. Dwmdesigner

Whatever you make I am sure will be fabulous. Sharen

Thanks for your approval, I'm new to all of this, but I do 3D modeling like I did Movie Make-up Effects work, as detailed and believable as possible, people's appreciation is a bonus! Dwmdesigner

This is so beautiful. It sure looks intricate.

The great thing is that it only appears that way, it's mostly the Texturemap & Bumpmap that give that Illusion! Dwmdesigner

Totally awesome.....really beautiful Sharen

Poppi ( ) posted Sun, 20 January 2002 at 5:10 PM

May I ask what you used to model it? You did such an awesome job with your texturing, then. Guess when this hits freestuff, Ill have to make a warrior/ess. ;*)

Well if you want to help me out I'd like a Valeria to go with Conan...! If anyone wants to tackle that challenge I can model the sword for Valeria & I have reference photos that may help too. Dwmdesigner

Sure....but, I don't know what Valeria looks like....do you have a link?
