Sorry to report this (but nobody said it would be perfect). If you open the P4 Nude (at least) that has had the thighs scaled less than 100% in Y (I always scale 'em down, they look too long to me) and turn off inverse kinematics, the knee joint breaks, as shown. A workaround is scale them back to 100%, turn off IK, then rescale them. You still get a movement, but it doesn't beak the joint. Anybody know how to make the default so IK is off? I seldom ever use it anyway.

Resave the figure with IK off. To turn it off generally, I don't think it can be done. I'd rather it start off by default too.

I tried hacking the CR2 to fix the IK problem with some figures made using Mason's clothing integration technique. The default listing for the arms IK chain is "off", in the CR2. The default for legs is "on". I hoped that changing the "on" to "off" would fix the default. No such luck. The figure still opens with the leg chains on by default. Does anyone out there understand IK enough to have a fix?

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

If you find bugs in the patch e-mail them directly to Larry as it says on the download page.

JeffH- I'll do that, but do you really think there is a chance they will be fixed? I was posting this more as an aid to the people that are using the patch. Incidently, I checked, it seems to affect (effect?)all the figures (well, I actually only checked the casual male). Resaving the figure with IK off doesn't help either, it is on when you open it again, I'm pretty sure. I did save a figure composed of 4 figures (that is, a body, a hair figure and two clothing figures), it made it into Bryce with all the texture maps still in place (not the transparency ones, of course), something that it would never do without the patch.

Larry IS the one fixing the bugs, he's the lead engineer for Poser as well as it's creator.
