I've fiddled and fiddled for a long time trying to get sitting skirts to work but never quite was satisfied with the morph way of doing things plus its a lot of work and the time could be used to make more clothes:o).....in the end i went down two paths a prop and a posable figure the image in this message is a prop parented to the hip so what happens is you pose your figure or use a pose you already have then apply the sitting pose which only affects the hip, thighs and abdomen then you remove ik and bend the shins till the feet touch the ground (to allow for different height seats)if you need to......the second image is a skirt which has abdomen, hip, thigh and shin (just one of the latter two) and what you do is pose one side of the figures legs hip etc use symetry to pose the other side then apply the same amount of bend to the skirt..for example of the thigh on the figure is bent at 35 you bend the skirt thigh at 35...these both have obvious faults as in the poseable one you are restricted to symetry and the prop one you are restricted to the thigh and hip poses that fit in the skirt....(though we are doing cross legged versions too :o)....but the good side is they look right and you can model creases or any other sitting atributes into the prop to make it look right...having said all that check out jim burtons post in the poser tech forum he looks to have sussed sitting posable skirts out ....Steve
