I will not be experimenting with the "beta" version either. Besides, the main issue I wanted to see resolved it not listed... transparent materials showing white when illuminated by volumetric lighting :( Oh well, maybe in another 3 months.... meanwhile, I have 5 Vue renders just sitting waiting on a "real" patch.
