Great stuff! Have you heard of a movie called "Monster that Challenged the world" (1957)? The monster would fit right in with your other creatures. It's a carnivorous, skull faced caterpillar/worm thing, metallic blackish green, with blank pearly eyeballs, a small forked proboscis/beak and reddish scimitar-like mandibles.
