Yeah... the laptop only has a 20GB hard drive, split into two partitions; I installed a 40GB external firewire drive, and it has plenty of room to shove goodies into as well - though I had to partition it into 2 20GB partitions. Now at the desktop it's a different story... though in either machine's case I've taken the time to burn all the extra Poser stuff onto CD-ROMs (got about 10 of 'em burned for just Poser so far...) so that if I need something (like last night - I realized I was completely out of trees), I can just load the CD, load the zip files I need, and when I'm done (or on occasion), I remove the directories I haven't used in awhile. I guess I just use Poser differently - An example is in the poses itself; I ahve only 20-25 pose directories in /runtime/libraries/pose (most made by Schlabber or Rauf - I ditched a good share of the default ones), but the variety of poses that I do have is so large, that I can pick one close to what I want and adapt the character from there. Also, additional textures and .obj files I would normally import anyway are outside of the Poser4 directory entirely; I've parked them somewhere else entirely on the drive. (/poser_resc and /3dobjects in case you're curious.) Since I'm used to building what I need on the spot (esp. props and structural parts), I just don't keep too awful much on hand. /P
