Depends on the version. The free one is without word-wrap, for the others one can (dis)able it. File size is limited only by memory. PS: Tell me where you live. I bring some friends with with me and we show you the big advantages of emacs. PPS: There are some vi versions for windows.bloodsong, Does how bad you'll hurt me depend on how long I've known about it? If so, I guess I'm in for it... I started using EditPad back in mid 98' when I first started mucking with the internals of obj and cr2 files. I stumbled onto it [n] just about the same way you did, a week after having it installed. You may also like to know that "t" is what EditPad uses for tabs (useful for manual cr2 editing). -Rob rbtwhiz.com
ach, rob! now where were you on any number of previous editpad (and other text editor) topics, where i was constantly bemoaning the inability of ANYthing to replace with special characters like return/enter, backspace, delete, etc etc? well, that's two things i need to hurt you for, now. but i dont have the heart to beat a man when he's down. when you feel better, i will! how's that? always something to look forward to, there. oh, i know! you and me and cooler can get together in chat, and i'll kick him as your stand-in. poor cooler, i haven't kicked him in ages... he likes that.

heyas; okay, maybe not THE discovery of the century. but i just now accidentally discovered how to get editpad to replace text with a carriage return/line feed. do you know how sane i've been drivin, trying to get a text editor to replace "g part_material" with "g part" and "usemtl mat"?? on different lines!!! well.....!!!!!!!!! okay, its fairly simple. n in editpad's search thing means newline. so in my line "g bPart_mat" i would search for "_" and replace with "nusemtl " (remember the trailing space) okay, now who knew this and never told ME? because i have to hurt you....! ;) and you know how i found out? i was about to search for _ and use paste to paste in an enter, then usemtl . and since i had my newline and usemtl bit selected, editpad automatically put it in the search slot, but as "nusemtl ". total fluke.
