Depends on what kind of models you want, but if you mean human characters, there are several included in the software when you install it. All of them are built around the standard Poser figures P4 Man and P4 Woman, affectionatly called "Dork" and "Posette". Here at Renderosity you can find several character morphs, clothes, hair props etc for Dork and Posette, many of them for free. When you have become comfortable handling these figures, go for the more advanced Victoria and Michael from DAZ (www.daz3d.com). They will cost you, but you can't find anything better.
