Hi Yves, I hope you do not think that I am the developper of Wings3D -I'm just a stupid - and okay loving - user - who btw was until now not intelligent enough to use other modelers with their tons of opportunities in thousends of often silly and not understandable iconized menues. (I already thought that I should better learn to read egyptian hieroglyphs for understanding the meaning of these icons. LOL!) The download stuff can be found at the more or less left bottom of the site - possibly not the best position: 1. You have to download and install "erlang" - the language of the prog. Very big download of 25 MB or something but you have do it only once. 2. Download the prog and install it (only some 800 KB), btw you should often go there because the developpers are very diligent. You can find updates and new features really nearly twice a week. 3. Also have a look at the plugins part and at the part which is on the site right below the "News". The things there are very nice and real "must have": import of adobe illustrator files, import of text, export of vrml format etc. That Wings3D can import and export 3ds and obj. files without any problems is already a basic fact! And just a hint here: I am using Wings3D with 2 mouses (or is it also "mice" with our tiny PC helpers LOL!). With a normal 2 button serial wheel mouse I manipulate the objects, faces and vertices. With the other mouse - a USB graphic table one with 3 buttons - I use the middle button for changing the view point. This can be done paralell to manipulating!!! Very nice! ;-) Bernie (whom are already growing wings -LOL!)

Keep cool and fight for the right of others
to have a different opinion than you have!
