Wow this is a cool thread.My screen name came from my 2 favorite things: Bodybuilding-in bodybuilding slang being "shredded" is when you get your bodyfat levels really low so your muscle tissue shows thru the skin,and Guitar-playing really fast solo's is referred to as "shredding".
