I started out here as LwayzSmiln and there is a story behind that. This is from a page on my web site: ____________________________________ Many people ask what "LwayzSmiln" means and why I call this part of my web site "Advantages of LwayzSmiln." LwayzSmiln was a screen name I used on AOL in 1996. I was going through a very tough time in my life. I was depressed and having a rough time finding anything to smile about. I felt that my world had come to an end. One of the things that I like about myself is the ability to have always been able to find the positive - or the bright side - to any situation. However, at this point in my life I couldn't find much to smile about. As an exercise in overcoming my depression I chose to actively seek out the positives. In the process of surrounding myself with and seeking positives I chose the screen name "LwayzSmiln" which is a variation of "Always Smiling". The web site title "Advantages of LwayzSmiln", to me, simply means that in my journey for happiness in life I've encountered things that have added to me. Some of these things were quite painful and some were exhilarating beyond belief. All of these things have their place within me. These things have built character, changed views and opinions and given more 'self' to my self-worth. They have opened my eyes to things never before seen, touched my heart in places never imagined and continually shape me into who I am and who I am becoming.
