I was a computer tech for 12 years. Started doing art & crafts for creative fulfilment on weekends. After a year, I found I was making more from the art than from the computer job, so I quit the computer job (mostly). My most popular stuff is historical leathercrafts with tooled designs. I got a lot of phone calls & EMails that started with "Are you the leather guy that made that great tooled (Kirtle, Gorget, Bodyce, Vambrace, Sword Frog, etc...) that so-and-so was wearing at the (Ren-Faire, Xena Convention, Fetish party, etc...)? Well I need a...." Using aScreen name like leather-guy seemed natural & saves time. Only drawback is an occasional confusing EMail or IM from someone who makes the wrong associations from it, & they're easy enough to ignore or straighten out. leather-guy Jerry B
