I notice you mentioned ATI drivers, - I've found their attempts to make XP drivers pretty lame, perhaps you could try using a generic video driver? I assume you've installed the Poser 4.03 upgrade, and run scandisk, so my next suggestion would be to try using msconfig or services.msc (accessable thru Start->Run-> )to go through & turn off some of the superfluous muck that MicroSoft set up XP to run in the background by default. I've had no problems with XP & poser, but I went thru & turned off 84 unnecessary XP services & processes before I even started installing any apps. If nothing else, you might try the Tweak-XP forums (See link) for help from other Xp users. Couldn't hurt to EMail Curious Labs, either. I wish you luck, I'll likely be gone until late Saturday, if no other suggestions help, IM me, & I'll send you a list of other online resources I used to re-configure XP. Jerry B
