Jaeger, it sounds like you could be asking for trouble if you don't have that network working right. I bought a Linksys router. It took the place of my network hub, and allowed us to share the internet on our cable modem. We have Adelphia Powerlink, and don't need any special software. We just use Internet Explorer 6 and Outlook Express 6. I have Windows XP, and my wife's computer has Windows ME. Everything works just fine. We only need one NIC card in each computer. (Well, mine is an on-board network "Card.")
