I have been turning off power saving bit by bit. I will disable Norton. I did what was supposed to update the video driver, I incurred a new ATI icon in the right hand task bar. I will get rid of the TSR programs that are not vital, so much work, just to get the nest situated. Maybe, if I poke around enough, something will shake loose, but not knowing what is wrong makes it more magic than anything else.
