Hi GrimPup, I havent played with the MetaBall modeler in Carrara yet. So, This morning I did a little test. Created a few metaballs posative and negative..ended up with a funky shape. Went into the Texture room and loaded a T-Map into the color channel and it DIDNT display the T-Map. It changed colors but the T-Map wasnt shown when I rendered. Looks like a problem to me or a limitation in the MetaBall Modeler. Clint

hund & MartialF, Shaders appear to work fine. Are you using Texture Maps in your Color channel in the shader? Its Texture Maps that we seem to be having a problem with. Clint

I just try it ,CLinth.You are right i make a metaball ,go to shader ,put a map on color layer,go to assemble room and metaball not render with texture I also create a shader with only texture for a vertex objet,save it on browser,try after to put on metaball objet ,no rendering.Hope a patch will correct it

I have created a form using MetalBalls. If I apply a custom texture it dose not render. Color shaders and the likes work fine, texture map is a no go. Help.
