Jaager I've been scanning a couple of XP forums & see a lot of problems with XP & ATI drivers. Especially the Radeon Drivers. If your new unit has that, some have reported using the beta release Driver version 6.13.10.6025 as a big improvement over the officially supported release Recommended Driver (6.13.3276) - There's also a mention of "the ATI support note to the effect that there is a bug in it which is that after changing driver properties the screen resolution has to be changed to VGA and back to whatever is the user default for the new proerties to be applied." Another user comments that substantial video problems have been corrected by this adjustment; Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services , scroll down to "IPSEC SERVICES", right-click on it and select "Stop". That's all I've found that appears related so far - did you ever try the changing to a generic VGA driver suggestion? That at least might give some indication. The only time I've ever had a problem with starting Poser was in my last computer, where a corrupt entry in my textures folder locked it up. A deep Scandisk cleared it up. I stopped using ATI products when I discovered how incredibly incompetent and indifferent their (lack of) product support was. I'll try a few more sources when I get home tomorrow, In the meantime; Good luck BTW - here's a site that purports to have the latest (01-31-2002) video drivers & info on ATI: http://www.rage3d.com
