Wow! So many great responses! Thank you all. I was trying to decide between Truespace and Carrara and I think I'm definitely going to go with Carrara now. The only disappointment for me is that it doesn't have radiosity and caustics....maybe in the next version eh? (BTW- is there a way to simulate these things in C?)
