However, it was not selected in an attempt to offend anyone.

that offend people now-a-days,

the things

DON'T? (rehtorical)

The selected verbage was deliberately employed in an attempt to arouse the maximum curiosity such that people would notice and view the posting.

This is the same method that is used by televsion commercials, newspaper and magazine advertisments every minute of every hour of every day
