Scott, your interpretation of name calling is innacurate. Anyone studying psychology will know there is a difference between finding issue with someone's behavior, and condemning the person. Indeed, someone who learns that distinction will have achieved a significant goal that makes getting along in life much easier. Beyond that, Freedom of Speech has been overly abused. It does not mean you have the right to yell "Fire" in a crowded theater. It does not mean you have the right to offend others with vulgarity. A wise man once said "With Freedom comes Responsibility." That is the step beyond the rhetoric which many people have trouble remembering. With regards to off-topic threads, there are many that you have not spoken about. And we've all gotten along just fine participating in them. On the other hand, if you're objecting to the disagreement here, I understand that. Either way I will not fight you.
