It freezes? Well, that's no good, to say the LEAST! How far can you get after applying the trans before the freeze? Just a guess, but try saving the material, closing the materiald editor, then opening it back up and then try the changes. Also, at looks as though the bump maps don't need the Y-1 thing. Maybe something to do with when they tried to make Vue import .BUM files (utterly ridiculous...I really don't understand why CL made the .BUM format...).
