You can (in RDS)...
"select" the object [in RDS main window}
[menu] "edit" ----> "copy"

-now-
open the mesh modeler and
[menu] "paste"

Now you should have your item available with all the polys accessible for modification. (like reversing the "normals" for the polys that refuse to show up in Poser)
