Thanks for the information. As an experiment, I tried going the OPPOSITE way also. I rendered my poser couple using global/ambient lighting, saved to TIFF, and applied it to a PICT object in Bryce. All I can say is, wow. It would require some postwork, and the default material settings are not good (have to fix ambience and diffusion) but overall the effect is pretty impressive. I was suprised to see that the scene lighting affects the 2D face in a relatively believable way. As an experiment I am going to do this picture BOTH ways - with the infinity cove and with the 2D pict in Bryce.
