Was thinking it might help to see what is actually the bird's arm. Just think of that time you picked upp a chicken and made it dance before Mom cooked it. The feathers fit into this. Notice the bottom view on the left. The feathers there are the bottom most and are not interupted. The top view on the right shows all the other feather groups on top of those. As the horrified creator of those aweful wings on the Pink Pony I feel I have to clear my name since those nightmare wings are still being used 5 years later. Old meshes are like old loves.
