Ron,

I'm going to send you (free of charge, of course) my measuring props. It looks like you could use 'em.
Oh,oh, if U couldn't email me, I might not be able to email you, but I'll try.

Meanwhile [back at the ranch] (couldn't resist that) ...

[menu] "Object" ----> "Properties"
[prop properties window] check "Display Origin"

Now you can see where the prop will go when you "Drop to floor." Change the "OriginY" so that the green cross hairs are level with the bottom of the prop.

Now you can change the "Scale" of the prop and it will stay on the floor even though it's size is changed. You will not have to readjust the "yTrans" everytime you change the "Scale."

BTW - When the prop is selected, you can use the
[menu] "Figure" ----> "Drop to Floor" command
to place the prop on the ground.
