Uhmm...you might try 3dplants.com, they have lots of free plant meshes and you can buy the Delvin Forest CD there, which has tons of different tree meshes. Bryce5 has a great tree generator and if you search back a couple of pages there are some good threads about making dense forests you might find useful. Good luck.
